Orange, Cranberry, Chip Scones 3 cups malted flour 1/2 cup sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 6 table spoon cold real butter 8 ounces low fat yogurt 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup milk 4 tablespoon orange juice 1 tablespoon orange zest 1 1/3 cup dried cranberries 2/3 cup chocolate chips Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. With a pastry blender cut in butter patties until mixture is a coarse crumb. In a separate bowl mix the yogurt, orange juice, milk, and orange zest. Combine liquid mixture to dry mixture and stir with wooden spoon until mixed. Do not over mix. Knead in the cranberries and chocolate chips on a floured surface. Form a 9 inch circle and cut into 8 wedges. Use a spatula to transfer cut pieces to a greased baking sheet. Leave 1 inch space between scones. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until brown. Do not over bake.
