Tomatoes, heirloom when possible!
½ cup butter (1 stick)
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
Basil, roughly shredded
Salt / Pepper to taste
Slice tomatoes into ½ inch thick slices, arrange on plate
Shred basil, set aside
Melt garlic and butter in pot until golden brown
While sizzling hot, garlic butter onto tomatoes, spread basil on top, salt and pepper
Eat right away - try it on top of crusty bread!
