Garlic-Butter Tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes, heirloom when possible!

  • ½ cup butter (1 stick)

  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

  • Basil, roughly shredded

  • Salt / Pepper to taste 


Instructions:

  • Slice tomatoes into ½ inch thick slices, arrange on plate 

  • Shred basil, set aside 

  • Melt garlic and butter in pot until golden brown 

  • While sizzling hot, garlic butter onto tomatoes, spread basil on top, salt and pepper

  • Eat right away - try it on top of crusty bread!
