No Tuna Salad

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained

  • 3 tablespoons tahini paste 

  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon each of chopped onion, celery, fresh herb like basil or parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Mash everything together to a consistency you like 

  • Serve with the best sandwich bread or on its own with a salad
