Oatmeal with an egg!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup steel cut oatmeal

  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

  • 1 cup water 

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt, pepper, seaweed seasoning to taste (optional)

  • Avocado (optional)


Instructions:

  • Soak oatmeal and flax in water for at least 30 minutes

  • Cook oatmeal until soft (about 15-20 minutes or until desired consistency)

  • Cook egg as you like (overeasy is my go to)

  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and furikake as desired

  • Serve with a slice of avocado if you would like!
