Pan Fried Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

  • 1-2 cups brussels sprouts, halved

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup bacon, chopped into 1 inch pieces (regular or vegan)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Brown bacon in heated pan with oil - set aside when done

  • Sauté garlic and brussels sprouts in the same pan

  • Add salt and pepper to taste

  • Cover with lid to cook for a few minutes

  • Remove lid, add a splash of balsamic vinegar

  • Add bacon, toss to mix. Serve warm or at room temperature
